Here are some of the common garden terms you will hear or read about when dealing with nurseries and garden plants.
Y Garden Termsyard: The land area surrounding your home.yard of mulch: A cubic yard of mulch equals 3 feet wide x 3 feet long x 3 feet deep yard waste: Branches, twigs, leaves, grass cuttings and other debris from your yard. yellowing leaves: A sign of too little magnesium, too little iron or too much water. Can also be a sign that fall is fast approaching. yellow with dark spots: Leaves that have turned yellowish and have black dots and smudges on them are likely infected with Black Spot but can also have Maple anthraconose. Dispose of leaves from plants infected by either of these as they can overwinter on infected materials.
